-Trouble Brewing-

When he moved, there was difficulty grasping the thin tendrils of the pliable fur of his pelt. Naraku appeared, but she knew the coward would never show his true self. It was a golem, disguised in a white pelt and mask, only the hint of a malevolent smirk was shown. Currently, large tentacles emerged from the bottom of his hem, writhing in every direction before they shot forward.

Despite the wound, Sesshomaru valiantly unsheathed his sword, parrying and slashing through the bionic flesh, spilling violet secretion onto the once green earth.

After Sesshomaru stumbled back from a blow, Kagome screamed. The perch that comforted her for a minute before disaster struck seemed to slowly withdraw from her grasp. For a second, she thought she saw a bright light, and every moment of her past playing on repeat for what seemed like an eternity but only a few scant moments passed.

She couldn’t breathe, the precious oxygen refused to integrate through her nose and blood stream. Then, an intense pain shackled her body, she tried screaming but not a single sound emitted from her mouth, even though it reverberated clearly in her mind. Dots started sprinkling the corners of her vision. She hurriedly blinked, she didn’t want to lose consciousness – not now, not when a battle was occurring. However it was a losing battle; the pain too excruciating to manage, Kagome succumbed to the dark abyss.
