She growled to herself, scowling at the lord near the end of the table. She hasn’t forgotten his little treatment this morning. “I never knew someone could stoop so low to place a bucket over me.”

Sesshomaru continued eating, merely ignoring the tiny woman near his plate. Just as he predicted, he had gotten an earful from the wench. Even now, she continues to ramble endlessly about her said treatment. Looking at the teacup designed with a tropical scene near his bowl of rice, he contemplated whether or not to place it over her.  When she screeched, he made his decision.

Only the sound of tiny fists hitting the porcelain cup disrupted the once peaceful morning.
