“I may not have my departed mate sense of foresight, but I do predict my son will have trouble locating information for your dilemma.” The lady shook her head, her straight silver locks waving with the movement. “That information is not easily disclosed.”

“So you do know this curse?” Kagome asked tentatively, tugging at the length of her skirt, feeling self-conscious about her current attire.

“Why, yes, I have seen it before. I wouldn’t have thought he would still be alive after all these years.”

“If you know who helped Naraku with this, why didn’t you tell Sesshomaru?” There was a bit to her tone, Kagome wanted this horrible curse to end, yet the female before her refused to divulge any information.

“Little human, watch your tone, my son may have a growing compassion towards your despicable race but I do not any qualms of ending your existence.” With a pipe in her hand, the lady blew out a trail of smoke. “Besides what would Sesshomaru learn if the answers are simply given to him instead of finding the solution to the problem himself?”
