-Drama Queen-

“This is pleasant for you to visit your ailing mother so soon and after what occurred months ago.” Kagome couldn’t help but be captivated to the soft, melodic voice of Sesshomaru’s mother. The woman had a gracing smile on her face, which that strongly resembles Sesshomaru’s. “You never visit for simple pleasantries and you accomplished your father’s test, what more could you possibly want from your poor mother.” The older woman inclined back in her throne, watching with malevolent eyes at her only son.

“Rin.” The little girl stumbled forward, placing the small figure that laid on her shoulders in the outstretched palm of her lord. “I presume you are aware of this curse.” He held the girl at a safe distance from the viper, lest he wanted a mangled human on his hand.

“Another human, why Sesshomaru, where is this compassion emerging from, your father’s blood? Previously, you brought two human children before me, whom you did not eat, and yet you bring another one; quite a crowd. What next do I must bear from a spiteful child I bore, a town full of humans gracing my castle? Such a thought is unbearable!” Sesshomaru waited till the woman was done with her theatric ramblings. Kagome observed the scene with awkwardness; Sesshomaru’s mother wasn’t what she expected.

“The question still stands, answer it.”
