Chapter 75: Gourmet

“So, how is it?”

At the eager voice, Kagome’s expression melted from uncertainty into surprise.

“It’s really good!”

A pleased smirk appeared on Inuyasha’s face. “Heh! I’m awesome. Admit it.”

Sesshoumaru snorted. “Hardly.”

“I didn’t ask you to try it, bastard.”

Kagome bopped them both over the head before she settled down to finish the rest of the noodles the younger Taishou male had prepared for her.

“I didn’t know you could cook, Inuyasha,” she said.

Her brother-in-law smiled sheepishly, a blush rising over his cheeks. “I can’t. Ramen’s the only thing I can make `cause I eat it so often.”

“Really?”

“Yeah.”

“Hmm… I could teach you some other recipes since,” her eyes slanted toward Sesshoumaru, “your brother doesn’t cook either.”

“I do,” he grumbled in protest, feeling strangely embarrassed.

“But you enjoy mine more,” she retorted dryly.

“Hn…”
