Disclaimer: Though it saddens me to say it, I don’t own anything relating to Takahashi-sensei’s Inuyasha or Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight. However, the plot and/or ideas of this drabble series do belong to me.

A/N: I just had to. ;) Update 4 of 7.

Chapter 72: Fiction

Gah! I can’t read this anymore!”

Sesshoumaru narrowly dodged the book that had been thrown at his head. He briefly glimpsed the image of pale hands cupping an apple before it sailed out of the room and smacked against the wall in the hallway.

Kagome?” he asked warily, keeping his eyes open for any more flying objects. He soon smiled in amusement when he saw the female’s flushed face and the way her chest heaved with her frustration.

At his inquiring glance, she explained, “Sango-chan dared me.”

To do what?”

I can’t even– Ugh!” Kagome collapsed onto the couch. “Just terrible…”

Curious, Sesshoumaru backtracked out of the room and returned with the book in hand, skimming through the pages.

This `Edward’ character seems familiar,” he muttered. “Pale, broods often, has topaz eyes…”

Kagome groaned. “Do you sparkle in the sun, too?”
