Chapter 120: Pity Party

“Myouga… Get Jinenji.”

“R-right away, sir!”

Touga sighed after the elderly man left, hands reaching up to massage his temples. The air was melancholy and tinged with a good amount of his son’s guilt. His restlessness was palpable.

Sesshoumaru was currently sitting beside Kagome on the bed, watching the rise and fall of her chest. His knuckles lightly traced the curve of her cheek before he pulled away and stared at his father.

“This… is my fault,” he said.

Touga frowned. “It isn’t.”

“She is my wife,” came Sesshoumaru’s solemn reply. “It is enough cause for misfortune.”
