Chapter 108: Release

The heat swarmed over Sesshoumaru’s skin, feeling hotter than anything he’d ever experienced before.

But it wasn’t enough.

A tornado of scarlet swirled around him, buffeting against the flames streaming from the annoying human. The cloud of youki shielded his body before snuffing out the fire and slithering over Renkotsu’s form. Its pressure was unforgiving as the man was flattened against the ground, the air forced from his lungs.

Sesshoumaru’s grin was full of teeth as he looked into his eyes. He was pleased to see the glimmer of fear reflecting back at him.

“Do not get comfortable, filth.”
