The Egyptian Challenge

Prompt: Isis: Goddess of Motherhood, Magic and Fertility (Kagome) 

-Kagome’s room-

Feeling brave, Inuyasha stood up and asked (hopefully) “So I can kill him in the feudal era?” This was good. Then Sesshomaru could be out of the way and he could mate Kagome without anyone or anything getting in his way.

“Hn. Hanyou who said you would be the victor?” Sesshomaru said, crossing his arms and leaning against the wall casually. Fool. The sooner they got to the feudal era the better. This was getting out of hand. The sooner Inuyasha knew the real truth about what was going to happen the better.

Kagome got this foreboding feeling all of a sudden, stomach twisting uncomfortably. This was like….this felt like….suddenly…. “Okay no way in hell are you two fighting at all! I changed my mind!” she said hastily. The both turned their head to look at her at the same time with a why? look.

This was just like those two brothers in her ancient Egyptian class. The younger brother killed the older one! What were their names again? Osiris (the older one) and Set! (the younger one) sure his wife Isis brought him back to have a baby but…gah!

“Osiris I cannot let you die!” Kagome said looking at him with a panicked expression. She ran to him (Inuyasha glared) and hugged him.

“I beg your pardon?” Sesshomaru said. Not that hugging her was fun…and in front of Inuyasha too…but what was this that his beloved was saying?

"Sesshomaru..." Inuyasha growled. Kagome looked over at him. Shit.

Inuyasha loved a fight and when they got to the feudal era....he might start a war---with Sesshomaru and the western lands for her.
