“Hide!” Kagome hissed. She looked around searching for a hiding spot. The only place she could hide him was in the bathroom—her closet was too small to fit him. He raised an eyebrow at her with a ‘This Sesshomaru does not hide’ look. She glared with a ‘this is hardly the time to act arrogant’ look.

“Hn.” Sesshomaru said. His future mate would challenge him? Interesting indeed. The fire in her eyes made him want her now. Shame Inuyasha was yelling and banging on the door. He nodded, Kagome looked confused and made a sound as Sesshomaru calmly opened the door and pushed her into the closet. He was sure Kagome was swearing and planning on attacking him when she got out. He looked forward to it. His beast nodded at this wholeheartedly. He wanted to play with his Miko.

….And Inuyasha was interrupting.

Sesshomaru calmly opened the door and asked what the problem was. Inuyasha ignored this and looked around the room---apparently looking for a hidden Kagome.  “You ignore this Sesshomaru?” he said as he watched his half-brother sniffing around. Inferior…as always. He wasn’t worried really. Kagome’s scent was mixed in with his as they were (cough) (cough) playing together earlier. Her scent wasn’t as strong as his.

“I know Kagome’s in here with you Sesshomaru! How dare you two touch and fuck each other! Kagome’s my mate! And you KNOW that. If you laid a hand on her body I’ll….” Inuyasha started. Sesshomaru picked him up from the collar and gave him a cold look, Inuyasha was trying not to be scared but his scent was giving him away.

“You’ll what ?” Sesshomaru said. He was already incensed (annoyed, irritated, infuriated) as it was and Inuyasha was adding to it. “…..You know you can’t hold a candle to her.”

“Why you…” Inuyasha said trying to get free. The fucking bastard!

Kagome blushed inside the closet.

Lady Nefertiti: Please read and review! thanks.

A/N: The phrase is a figure of speech meaning to be unable to measure up to someone. To be ‘unfit’ or ‘not good’ for said person.
