Prompt: Kagome

He sat down on her bed as he listened to her ramble on and on. Of course he’d love to shut her up with a kiss but perhaps he should listen to her first. She paced. Her confusion was quite…charming. Finger to her chin now… tap…tap…Hnn he wanted her finger to…suddenly he lost his trail of thought as she stood before him, arms crossed.

“Was I hit on the head?” Kagome asked. Odd that he remembered something like this. Did the others…why would they keep this a secret from her? Kagome frowned unhappily as she sat on his lap, wriggling around and making herself comfortable like she was already supposed to be there. He raised an eyebrow and she ignored him.

Was her memory wiped out? Memories too gruesome to bear? Why were they all sent to her era with her? and Sesshomaru found a way back to the feudal era? That meant they could’ve been stuck here in the future? Too many questions.

He shifted her in his lap and said, “We were in the midst of the final battle with a demon named Naraku.” He went on to say how they were losing. “A female by the name of Kikyo turned on us (Inuyasha would find this out later) and this Sesshomaru did what was best….pushed you down a well.”

“You pushed me down a well? Really Sesshomaru? Here I thought you cared about me or something. Why am I not dead?” Kagome asked giving him a light punch on the chest.

“You think this Sesshomaru would allow harm to come to you?” he said. He knew that she would not be injured and that she would be safe. Naraku could not get to her in the future.

“Now about this blue and gold dress of yours….” He said pulling on it hoping this might distract her. She looked distressed and this would not do.

“Stop.” She said holding his hand (from where he was pulling and he did) “You have a kingdom. You saved my life. I’m comfortable around you when I’m naked---or if you undress me. You touch me and I don’t care. We’re being sneaky but I don’t call this cheating rather experimenting and ‘easing tension’ as you say.”

“Who am I Sesshomaru? What am I?” Kagome said looking worried. “……Am I your mate in the feudal era? So I’m not supposed to mate Inuyasha because he’s not the one?” she asked him looking up at him with big innocent blue eyes.

‘…………’

‘Inuyasha is so dead when we get to the feudal era…..’ Sesshomaru thought and he should just ‘agree’ with what Kagome asked him about being his mate. His beast agreed to this wholeheartedly.
