Prompt 145: Fight!

For Chie’s March Word Prompt.

-With Kagome and Sesshomaru-(in the woods)

Kagome gulped as she tried backing away from him. ‘That does not sound good’ was what was running though her mind as she pushed at his chest--- wondering if she could fight him off. “Sesshomaru…” she said quietly (hoping no one was nearby) Hmm his silky clothes felt good in her hands though. Come to think of it why did she even want to fight him off of her anyway? This was a first for her!

And even if they DID do the ‘dirty’ in the forest all the demons around them would be able to tell—how embarrassing that would be for her and Sesshomaru--- but Inuyasha? Would go demon---raise hell and start attacking anyone and everyone in the way.

She didn’t hear anyone nearby and sighed with relief. She just didn’t notice his gleaming amber eyes which said ‘I am up to no good’ eyes.  Wasn’t Sesshomaru a private sort of guy though? She was sure he’d want to make love in a room or something? Not out in the open? So it was decided? Then it would be in the Palace?

Village (Kaede’s hut/home)

Everyone had made their way towards the village as per their ‘lord’s order’ which irked Inuyasha and his ears twitched all the way as he was grumbling something keeping watch on the many soldiers. Following Sesshomaru around….keh. No wonder he didn’t like or want to live the ‘palace life’ and rather in the wilds of the Sengoku Jidai; Royal Court would drive him crazy. Not to mention he’d pick fights with anyone who told him what to do, when to and how to do it.

“Inuyasha. What’s the hold up?” Miroku called as Inuyasha was far back in deep thought and debating something. (Up to no good?) He thought. Inuyasha would’ve taken off---not listening to Miroku had it not been the ‘unfriendly looking’ soldiers that were around everywhere. There were around 7 by their hut. Geez! Like they were going to go and attack someone or were in a war or something.  

“Keh. Pervy Monk. Surprised to see you still here.” Inuyasha said smirking---arms crossed as he walked towards the entrance where Miroku was standing. Seemed like Sango, Shippo and everyone else was already inside. He could swear there were 3-4 guards inside too. Sesshomaru went all out didn’t he?

So…Sesshomaru and Kagome were up to no good?! Alone?!  How was he going to go and see what they were up to? How was he going to ‘save’ Kagome from the ‘big bad demon’ now?

But then again, did she want to? Or need saving was the question.

‘……….’

“Houshi. Inuyasha….” Sango said calling their names. Miroku nodded, a smile on his face looking into his ‘loves’ eyes. Surprise? That he hadn’t stayed behind? To what? Take notes?

“I don’t have a death wish from my lovely lady Sango and of course the hundreds of soldiers here. Peeking in on their ‘esteemed lord?’ how dare I? Off with my head right? ” Miroku said in a royal firm way and then chuckled motioning Inuyasha to follow him.

The rest of the army were situated around the village keeping watch. Some gave Inuyasha ‘this look’ like he was guilty or something or he’d ‘better behave himself’

Sheesh….

He sat down in a corner of the hut, arms crossed. Suddenly standing up (as everyone blinked at him)

Pace…Pace…Pace…

Grumbling about human wenches who didn’t know how to listen….

A few swear words from Inuyasha which Miroku raised his staff and it ‘jingled’

“Inuyasha please sit down! You’re not helping by pacing back and forth. Kagome will be back soon! It’s not like those two are romantically involved or are doing something dirty! They’re probably picking a fight, arguing and Kagome’s going to stomp away from him wishing she could sit him.” Sango said nodding this as an affirmative.

Well that sounded downright dirty now didn’t it?

“Lady Sango you didn’t help any.” Miroku said sighing. Romantic. Indeed. He was sure Kagome and Sesshomaru were fighting about something or another…
