Prompt 144: Actinolite: is a shielding crystal and it can heal energy that results from illness, stress and unwanted negativity. It balances body, mind and spirit and increases one’s self-esteem and physically strengthens the immune system.

 For Seira Serenity Star’s Crystal Challenge

Kagome laughed nervously and swallowed as she looked up into Sesshomaru’s eyes with that devilish look of ‘want’ wondering whether she should back away and run very far away (which was her previous plan) or drag him into the forest for some alone time but they had so much audience! No wonder Sesshomaru wanted everyone to leave and go back to the village. So she and him could get some alone time?

Yeah alone time doing what exactly? Not a brother and sister talk of course….

‘……..’

“Hey I’m trying to talk to you here! Where did you go Kagome? Into your own la-la-land?” Inuyasha said looking annoyed and raised a fist in emphasis. This---the army did not appreciate but didn’t voice it. They were sure Sesshomaru would be okay alone with this powerful Miko. But….surely their ruler hadn’t fallen for this Miko had he?! Like his half-brother Inuyasha? What was her name? The lady Kikyo?

“Baka don’t make me knock you out again” Sango hissed looking a little stressed out which wasn’t like her. Not a great idea to piss off Sesshomaru anymore---not to mention maybe it seemed----half of his DEMON army. She was keeping away from their view because some of them had looked over---curious, some eyebrows raised, some giving off an unfriendly aura. Her outfit and weapon just said ‘I’m a demon slayer’.

“My dear lady Sango. How about we walk towards the village together in this romantic moonlight?” Miroku said holding his hand out in a gentlemanly way. He could tell and by the way she was hovering and hiding behind him it was better for the both of them to exit this scene. Sango didn’t even protest as they walked off.

“I swear that Monk….” Inuyasha gritted his teeth. Could never tell what that monk was up to.

“Inu-yah-sha I will ‘sit you to hell’ if you don’t leave right now.” Kagome said in a song-like calm manner---a smile on her face.

‘Eeehhhh?!’ (Was everyone’s thought who didn’t know what this term meant. Was it perhaps a powerful curse that would render a demon---even a powerful one useless? And purified to ashes?)

Well…

ZOOM! And Inuyasha took off---dust following--- like he was never there to begin with.

“Well it seems like we should all follow suit.” General Soji said. No point in staying here when they were all told to leave and motioned everyone to follow him. Some had already ‘run off’ not wanting to be purified by this Miko.

Interesting why no one questioned why exactly Sesshomaru and Kagome would come to the village later on? Were they busy elsewhere? Hmmm? An interview of sorts?

And how someone could make that word sound dirty well….

‘…….’

As Kagome watched everyone walk off she wondered whether she should be relieved or nervous that she was now left alone with Sesshomaru. She turned around and saw him coming closer to her. Yup time to take off, Inuyasha style!

She walked backwards as he walked towards her like a predator and found herself against a tree. Great. Just great. Like the movies where ‘the predator is about to devour its prey’ huh? Did he just...“You’re not proposing err….are you?” Kagome whispered looking confused and looked around nervously in case someone was listening or looking. This wasn’t exactly something one of their companions/friends should walk into or see.

They looked like lovers in the moonlight who were about to…..errr never mind! This was Kagome’s out of control mind going elsewhere.

‘………'

“What is it? Little Miko you think this a ‘wedding’ ring you humans call it?” Sesshomaru said with a smirk which made Kagome’s heart thud. What was with that ‘tone’ he was using? He leaned in closer as he heard her heartbeat, blushing a pretty pink color now.

“Hnn…no this is just a ring made from the crystal called Actinolite this Sesshomaru is giving you from one of his ancestors. You’ve have gotten enough stress from your tachi with that Monk groping—and Inuyasha mostly. Perhaps this might calm your nerves down. This Sesshomaru will be around to protect you.” And slipped the ring on.

(Not adding the part where you’re supposed to give this ring to your future mate)

“Do you not think this Sesshomaru and you should become one in body, mind and spirit?” Sesshomaru said in a teasing manner pushing her further back against the tree.

‘Whaaaa?’ Kagome said. Was her mind going down the gutter? He was just saying ‘normal Sesshomaru’ stuff…. right? Right? RIGHT?!

“Should this Sesshomaru physically strengthen you now?” he said whispering into her neck.
