Inuyasha was still a crater in the ground---his body was twitching meaning he would be up soon. Footsteps were heard as Sango turned around to see about a dozen soldiers coming this way. Great. They probably heard the loud BOOM! Sound and came to see if Sesshomaru was in any sort of danger…..

What a joke….

“I’m going back to the village.” Kagome said---carnation still in her hand---not waiting for anyone to respond. It was already really dark and getting cold. She wanted to back to the hut and she felt Miroku’s presence/aura nearby---being both had holy powers. Yeah, she knew he’d follow them. He could always reason and calm everyone down---mostly Inuyasha. 

CRASH! (The sound of Inuyasha being thrown into a tree)

Kagome smiled inwardly as she heard a ‘Hn’ from Sesshomaru. At least the two didn’t kill each other---that was good news to anyone. It was silent as she passed by the gates of the village entrance when she suddenly felt an arm wrap around her waist and pulled her very fast into the darkness. Eh? What? Should she scream?

“Hnn..Kagome.” Sesshomaru said into her neck with a devilish smirk like he was about to do something naughty.

“Umm…yes?” Kagome barely made out as she was half-carried into the darkness. Where were they going? GASP! Where they about to do something bad?

“What are you? Sesshomaru! Someone…no---everyone will catch us!” Kagome said struggling against him.

“They dare intrude on this Sesshomaru and our love-making?” he said as he lowered her.

“Our WHAT?!” Kagome said.

“Loyal to your mate! Yes great! But not in the great outdoors!” Kagome hissed trying a ‘leg kick’ of sorts and found herself on the ground with him on top of her.

Yes….she was in trouble. A sexy alpha daiyoukai on top of you who already claimed her as his mate...she was complaining why? But this was hardly the romantic scene!
