The silence in the room was deafening.” Hn. You think of this Sesshomaru as a type of thorn little brother?”  Sesshomaru asked.

 Inuyasha glared at his brother’s arrogance or was it idiocy? Baka. “Kagome isn’t the only puzzle we have to solve ya’ know. We can ‘snap’ her out of it when we get home. Kaede’s there and so is Kouga. He has some of the best healers at his kingdom. The major puzzle to solve is HOW to get home. You ever think of that huh? I don’t wanna be stuck here in this era---even though it has modern conveniences.”  He folded his arms and leaned against the wall.

Sesshomaru sighed inwardly. He knew that. So did everyone else but they were trying to ignore it. Too long they had been thrown into this era. Sesshomaru wondered how everyone was faring in his kingdom while he wasn’t there. Sure he had a ‘backup’ demon to take care of things (quite popular with the ladies in fact) in case Sesshomaru wasn’t at the palace. Damn that Naraku….he would be dealt with when they got home.

“Perhaps we should go back to the well and try to…” Miroku started.

“Try what Miroku?” Sango said in a tired voice. It was starting to get frustrating. She was losing hope. She had to get her brother Kohaku out of Naraku’s grasp. No to mention kill that Kikyo for good. Inuyasha needed to find a real mate.

“Maybe you should kiss Kagome by the well again Sesshomaru? The well had made a sound of some sort.” Miroku said helpfully.

“Monk. Don’t make me kill you over there. I know you want to have kids with Sango.” Inuyasha said. Sango flushed red and marched over to hit Inuyasha over the head. Rin hid a smile. Kagome stood up, rubbing her eyes and looked around as if she was confused of where she was.

“I…where’s Kouga Inuyasha? I know we just saw him a while ago.” Kagome asked.

Inuyasha smirked at Sesshomaru. “Feh. Talking about other guys. I don’t think she likes you.” 

Shippo shook his head and led Rin down the stairs again. It was time that they all got serious.
