Sesshomaru's smirk caused everyone to shiver in fear...it was so cold. He didn't seem angry. Shippo was about to walk over and smack Inuyasha across the head to ‘knock it off’ before he REALLY got killed for his stupidity but Rin stopped him.

“You think your foolish taunts and threats are going to scare this Sesshomaru?” he asked calmly.

‘………’  

“little brother say what you will, do as you wish---hard as it might be but Kagome will be MY MATE. A youkai’s bond…which lasts forever. ” Sesshomaru said.
