Prompt: Ninety-Nine roses

-Feudal era-

Kouga and Ayame still stood by the well---it seemed like ages that they'd been there. Ayame gave him a hug, maybe to make him feel better. They needed the others. Naraku was up to his old tricks---seemed like he knew the others were missing in action and was building his army. And Kikyo was all too ready to break Inuyasha's heart again.

This time it might be Kagome as well. He had seen a spark between her and Sesshomaru. It wasn't odd really. He was always around the group, when he wasn't busy doing king-like duties, so to speak at his kingdom. Kagome was lost to him, Kouga as well. 

"Do you not remember? I always went after Kagome and she always picked Inuyasha. I hope they aren't mated on the other side." Kouga said sighing. He wasn't worth it. They were a miss-match. "....I tried to woo you with roses every day! but you always said no...probably mad or offended that I picked you as a number 2 huh?" he said with a chuckle when she glared. 

"Ninety-nine of them Ayame! were you for real? or were you just playing hard to get?" Kouga said. She didn't say rather looked into the well. She wasn't going to tell him!

-Kagome's home- 

"And I'm telling you the well ain't gonna work without a shikon shard!" Inuyasha said re-glaring at Sesshomaru. Miroku had his staff 'at the ready' just in case. Kagome wanted to purify him---Sango had her boomerang ready. Kagome put her shoes on and said she was headed to the well to see if she could find something, anything! to get them out of this era. Seemed like everyone was going crazy. Sesshomaru followed her....looking her backside as she walked ahead. Hnn.....

"Stop following my woman!" Inuyasha said. 

Yes....everyone was going crazy.
