Prompt: True Love

Inuyasha was happily eating his noodles while everyone talked until the sun started to set in the sky. Everyone had different opinions on how to get home. Some were suggesting to use the gemstone Alexandrite. Inuyasha said they needed a Shikon shard-----and if Kagome had a spare laying around anywhere (he got stares for that comment). 

Miroku suggested they needed...all they needed was a kiss from their one true love! and the well/portal would open for them. (no surprise that he would suggest something like that). He said he wasn't joking around and moved closer to Sango saying he would (ahem) show them. he got a smack! out of that from a blushing Sango. 

What they didn't know was that someone on the other side had the same thoughts----on how to get them all home safe and sound. 

"Hn." 

Inuyasha's eyebrow twitched. He couldn't take it anymore. "Fine. Let's do this true love thing." He was about to make his way over to Kagome to kiss her when.....

"Don't you dare go near her Inuyasha." Sesshomaru said in a cold voice, quite unlike him. It sounded like he was the one being threatened? in some way?

"Feh! what's it to you huh?!" Inuyasha said. "....you seem to have taken a liking to my woman!" 

Kagome bit her lip.
