Sesshoumaru kissed the miko and pulled her close to him.  How sad she was had made him think.  This little thing that had caught his attention, the obsession which had turned into love, it made him think of his father.  He told Sesshoumaru that he would understand once he had something to protect.  Well this little onna had awakened something in him.  He found that he would not let any harm come to her, he would tear apart anyone who tried to hurt her.  You were right father, I now know what it is like to have someone to protect.  He thought as he put more emotion into the kiss and heard the quiet moan of the miko in front of him.
