“Even though I know it's selfish of me...”

Kagome just knew that she was being selfish, but she couldn’t help as tears slipped down her face as they both finished, Sesshoumaru laid they down by the fire and her on his chest as he purred contentedly. 

“What is it?”  His voice rang out clearly, yet it was gentle at the same time.

“I am being selfish with you.”

“This one does not mind Kagome.”  Sesshoumaru chuckled as she felt her snuggle into his chest. 

“I mind…”  She whispered softly.  “…can we go and see Inuyasha when the storm let up?  I just can’t leave things this way.”

“Yes Koi..we will do that as soon as we are capable.”
