Kagome wondered what was taking him so long, it had been an hour now, she knew that she shouldn’t but she was beginning to get worried.  She yearned for him to be back here, just so she would know that he was okay.  But soon after thinking this the daiyoukai walked into the cave, he was covered in snow but he had a handful of dead pheasants and rabbits.

“Oh Sesshoumaru!”  Kagome gasped in glee.  “I was worried about you!”

“There was no need, this one sensed the storm was picking up and decided to grab food for the both of us.”

“Oh excellent, I will prepare it right away!”  Kagome said as she said to work making dinner for the both of them, within the hour it was ready and they sat next to each other, neither saying a word, just merely eating and enjoying the other’s company.
