Sesshoumaru did not have knowledge of the entire situation so he decided to investigate himself.  It was weird that the monk knew of what they were doing, it made him wonder if Kagome had told him or if the monk had somehow delved what they were doing.  It mattered not to him, the monk didn’t seem to be in the business of making their business public so he let him go.  But the strangeness with Kagome, that he was interested in.

As he ran he could feel her aura fluxing and what he thought was another presence within her own.  This was certainly not good. 

“Miko.”

“Ah, the Lord of the Western Lands.  We are pleased that you are finally in this one’s presence.”  Kagome cackled.

“Tell this Sesshoumaru who you are, the one that is inside of the priestess, and how you can to be there.”

“The priestess was so sad, and so alone.  We only took advantage of what she already wanted.  To be loved, to be able to defend herself.  And we have made it so.  Look at the growth of her powers, is she not better than before.”

“No.”  The single word was a growl of out Sesshoumaru’s throat.
