Sango and Miroku came back to the camp to find it a wreck and Kagome gone along with her bow and arrows.  They turned to Inuyasha who appeared to have gotten knocked out in whatever had happened here.

“Inuyasha what happened?”  Sango asked as they ran over to him.

“A-A demon, it was some kind of octopus.  It came and attacked, Kagome…she moved so fast…she led it away.  She was nothing like her usual self, she was able to dodge some of it’s attacks, and then she just left me here.  I was knocked out before the fucking thing went to chase after!  That stupid wench! Why the fuck would she do that!?”  Inuyasha seemed more like himself as he spoke, as if his concussion or shock were wearing off.  Miroku had been told about these things by Kagome.

“I do not wish to alarm anyone, but I think we should go after Kagome-chan.  What Inuyasha describes does indeed sound very unlike our Kagome.  Perhaps there is something wrong with her.”  Miroku said as he looked at Sango. 

“Yes, we need to make sure that she is okay.”  Sango nodded.  “Shippo, we need you to be a big help and go get Inuyasha some water from the nearby stream.  Clean his cuts and then have him drink some and lay down.  We’re counting on you to take care of him.”  Sango said with a smile as Shippo jumped up excitedly and started running off to help.  There that will keep both him and Inuyasha busy while we figure out what the hell is going on.  “Let’s go Miroku!”  She said as they started running towards the direction that Inuyasha had pointed out.
