Poison

His love was a poison that she just couldn't stop herself from consuming.  There was something about all the time they were spending apart and everything that she had went through, she just needed this part of him, with her in the here and now.  She couldn't help the feeling that was creeping up within her that there was something that was coming.  There was danger and that they would not yet be left in peace, there was one hurdle they would have to overcome before her intiation ceremony and coming out party.  So she needed him and he needed her.  She was going through so much just to ensure that they would be able to be together but in the here and now, she didn't think that she could imagine herself anywhere but by his side.

As she kissed him, it was not in a frenzied and frantic pace as was common for their couplings, but slow and languid.  She pressed herself against him and the caution which he took to avoid hurting her touched her heart.  She realized that it had to be hard for him and she so breakable.  He was so much more than everyone had made her out to be and she was honored that he had chosen her for his own.  She didn't know what she had ever done to deserve him and knew, surely, that if not for him she would have perished after the events with her friends.  She was so lucky and would not squander this.
