Kagome thought long and hard.  The voice in her head was right, this was a momentous decision that she was making.  But the same thing resounded all throughout her head.

Was she ready?

Was this demon, that had come to her so suddenly, someone who she didn’t even like; or thought she hadn’t anyway.  Was he the one that she was going to give her innocence to?  Did he deserve her?  And what would happen if she did?  Where would they stand?

There were so many questions in her head, but she knew the answer.  She knew in her heart of hearts what it was and she was at peace with it.

Yes.

Yes she wanted to give this to him, wanted him, and yes she was ready.  It was time.
