a sunset in the dreamscape is still a sunset

As Kagome was immersed into her dream world the stranger saw her sitting on a beach and it was sunset.  There was nothing really odd about this, however these were not like beeches the stranger had ever seen before.  It was truly odd, when they had planted that gift on Akane they had not expected it to be so easy to get the priestess to wear it, this made their plans flow all the easier.  It was perfect, but now what they were seeing was not what they thought they would be, they had heard her calling out at night.
