You are the pearl of my dreams

When Kagome came to bed that night, after a lovely visit with Akane she had received a pearl necklace.  She had been having trouble sleeping of late and Akane had brought it to her in hopes that it would save her from her nightmares and let her finally come to rest.  She had busy days and she needed her rest for all of the things she had been learning she had already seen it making her testy, quite testy. 

But as Kagome lay down to sleep that night she could feel a feeling of peace settling over her, as if everything in her world was going to be alright.  And for the first night in weeks she encountered entirely restful sleep.  But what she didn’t know is that through the pearl someone else was monitoring her dreams to find out what was going on with her.
