A rose by any other name

Sesshoumaru walked into the room where Kagome was asleep curled up in a chair and he couldn’t help but smile.  He walked over and touched her shoulder gently and watched as he dear one was roused from her sleep, slightly startled. 

“Sesshoumaru?”  She asked quietly and slightly confused. 

“Yes my darling.”  He said and produced a white rose and handed it to her.

“Aww…”  She whispered quietly as she felt her heart overflow with love.  “…I missed you too Sesshoumaru.”  She said as she stood up.  “I’m sorry I fell asleep here, I was just reading and it seems that sleep just overtook me.”  She chuckled.

“It is nothing that you have to worry about Kagome.  This one has simply missed your presence and wished to see you.  I have been busy the last few days and it seems that you have too.  Manabu and Yukki seem very pleased with your progress so far and I am as well.”  He said with a smile as he leaned down and kissed her, what started off as a simply kiss bloomed into an inferno quite quickly.  He sat down in the chair with her straddling his waist as they were wrapped in an embrace.
