Sesshoumaru's Point of View

I could notice a direct change in the miko’s mood after I had said something about her being pampered.  I had my suspicions about what she was thinking of, most in the forefront was my idiotic brother.  She had been through so much abuse with him, not of the physical kind, but the mental scars that she carried were quite devastating indeed.  I wanted to help remedy that, but she did not trust me fully yet.  I would work on this after we arrived at my castle. 

However her mood now was something that I certainly needed to take care of.  This miko was certainly a lot of maintenance, yet somehow I knew that she was worth it.  I would do everything in my power to restore her and help her come to terms with her power.  I nuzzled her a little and watched the smile that spread across her face with a little bit of joy that sparked right in my soul.  It was curious the hold that she had on me.  I had not before heard of two souls interacting in this way.  I would need to do some research once we arrived at the castle. 

“Come on, let’s get going, Kagome.”  I said with a smile and watched her melt.
