The Attack

It's my first time writting a FF! please, tell me what you think. I'm open for any suggestions and sorry for the grammar. My native language is not english, so it's a bit hard to write. Thank you so much!

It has been already two years of searching, and after some treachery from Kikyou about half month ago, Kagome had lost all of her previous shards to Naraku. In the time after, the Inu Tachi have found only one piece of the Shikon. However, nothing could have prepared them for the attack the next day.

Naraku, with half of the Jewel, had created two more minions, Iki-Ryo and Bakeneko, and sent them to distract the group. While he went for his main target, Kagome.

While the two creations distracted Inuyasha, Sango and Miroku, a tentacle ran below the ground, showing itself behind Kagome, who was doing her best to defend little Shippou and protect herself. In a single shot, it went through Kagome's back, piercing her body in a deadly way.

As soon it hits, everybody heard Kagome’s scream and turned. Naraku took his leave at that moment.

Inuyasha ran to pick Kagome’s bloody body from the grass and did the only thing that he could to save her that moment: the well. The healers on the other side would know what to do. He needed to be fast; she had a fever, and was sweating and trembling. Miroku and Sango were sightly behind, flying on Kirara and holding onto a desperate Shippou.

As soon he lands on the future and went through the well house door, Mrs. Higurashi, who was cleaning the yard, sees the almost deceased state of her daughter and, without any questions, ran to the house and called the emergency service.

Luckily, the ambulance arrived only five minutes later and took the young miko to the nearest hospital. Mrs. Higurashi decided to go by car, since she would be of no use in the emergency procedures, and someone needed to help Inuyasha to cover himself. Seeing his disbelief, she said:

- They don’t need desperate people to disturb them in the ambulance and we have to quickly decide what to say when they asks what happened. And that's what I'm asking you right now.

- Kagome's POV-

Why am I like this? I just remember stand behind with my bow and arrows. Suddenly, two figures with no auras appeared in front of my friends. Naraku was right behind them, waiting. I was getting ready to shot when something hit my back. I screamed and everything went black. Now, I can hear people screaming, putting some tube down my throat and an electrical wave reaches through my entire body. I feel something liquid going down my belly and back. Why can't I open my eyes? What's going on? Some kind of needle gets stuck in my arm and everything goes black again.

"Kagome..." A female voice whispered.

"Kagome...” the same voice says, but louder now.

My throat was dry. I can’t answer the call. I open my eyes to see a pretty young blonde woman with a serious expression.

"W-Who... who are you?"

"It does not matter who I am this moment. I'm here to help you."

"Why?"

"It's for free, don't ask why. Come to me. Ask your grandfather when you're ready."

A couple days later, Kagome was still asleep and Mrs. Higurashi had finally convinced Inuyasha to back to the past to see how his group was doing. With a bit of arguing, he accepts, since the doctors said she won’t wake up for a few more days.

The moment Inuyasha crossed the time portal, he felt some kind of magic and worried. Jumping to get back to Kagome’s time, nothing happened. The well had been sealed, somehow.
