Chew Toy

AN: Thank you for the reviews. Some of the ideas intrigued me but I've only incorporated a couple. I've already outlined most of the story. But I hope you enjoy!

~ooO Chew Toy Ooo~

Kagome screamed as she ran, ducking low branches and jumping over bushes and fallen logs. She screamed for InuYasha, for Sango, for anyone to save her. Maybe she had been a bit abrupt with Sesshoumaru but surely it didn’t mean she deserved to have an incensed daiyoukai out to use her as a chew toy!

She fought down the urge to scream. It was useless. If InuYasha wasn’t coming he wasn’t coming. She could only hope to avoid Sesshoumaru’s claws long enough to give him some time to calm down. He was usually so cold and controlled. Sure Kagome had a knack for riling the locals but this was Sesshoumaru! The proverbial ice prince! It took a great deal of effort to make him loose control. Usually kidnapping his ward Rin. She had never thought yelling at him would incite his instincts. She’d yelled at him before, usually on InuYasha’s behalf. What was different this time?

A small furrow creased her brow as she struggled to pace her breaths with her strides. Sesshoumaru was an ally, a travelling companion. Sure she might have indicated disrespect and insult with her actions but he had never chased her down like this before! So why now?! She was just an insignificant miko! Why would her disrespect rile his instincts to chase her down? Just what did he want from her?!

She screamed loudly when she heard loud thumps and felt the vibrations of something heavy landing under her feet. She took the chance to glance over her shoulder and whimpered. Sesshoumaru had transformed into his primal inu form, with wild red eyes and acid drool! She really didn’t want to be the daiyoukai’s chew toy. The last time she had seen him like this he had buried her in his acidic saliva! Tessaiga was the only reason why she survived the battle in the Inu no Taisho’s tomb!
