Sesshomaru stared at the angel before him. Oh how he wanted to tell her how much he adored her, but he had been silent for so long hiding behind an expressionless mask that it was almost painful to try. But he did showing her in every touch, every look, every breath how much he truly loved her.

Kagome gasped as Sesshomaru ran a clawed finger slowly down the side of her cheeks. She sometimes wanted to screem at him in frustration. Wanting, needing to just hear the words and yet at other times she felt so loved that it took her breath away.

She closed her eyes and let the feeling wash over how he always made her feel protected, safe. His mere presence could calm her entire being. Just knowing he was there made her feel like she could do anything in the world if she wanted to.
