Chapter 91: Shock

“She is pack,” Sesshoumaru declared, silently daring someone to speak out against him.

But nobody moved. They didn’t even breathe.

Pleased, the daiyoukai’s eyes found a couple of the maids that had gathered out in the courtyard.

“Prepare two rooms and summon the healer immediately.”

He walked a few steps, this time without resistance, and instructed that his brother be taken care of in his absence.

“My Lord?”

Sesshoumaru spared Moriko a sidelong glance but increased the length of his strides. He wouldn’t tolerate any more distractions and put Kagome’s condition further at risk.

“What happened?”
