Chapter 89: Borderline

Sesshoumaru was overcome with a startling amount of impatience.

Crimson eyes roved over the bodies of his cowering servants and he growled, snapping his fangs at them menacingly.

“Move!” he told them.

But no one budged an inch. A few even dared to look up at him in confusion. Behind him, Rin and Jaken shared an uneasy glance.

“Barking out orders will not make them listen, my Lord,” a voice chastised lightly. “Or have you forgotten your sire’s lessons?”

At the familiar tone, recognition flooded Sesshoumaru’s senses, and he calmed considerably, the fog clearing from his mind.
