Chapter 88: Haste 

The arrival of the daiyoukai at the Western gates sent his subjects into a flurry of activity.

Sesshoumaru, who had been concerned with bringing Kagome to a healer, had shot through the barrier that protected his home and created a large crater upon landing. The impact had been so great that the stone pathway had been reduced to rubble and a cascade of sand showered around him and his cargo. He was only vaguely relieved that the statue of his brother remained intact.

Otherwise, he was certain that he would get an earful from Kagome once she was healthy again.
