A/N: Sesshoumaru tackles something that is simply mind-boggling.

Chapter 80: Resolute

Sesshoumaru growled, the rumbling sound traveling from his chest and up to the petite woman sitting between his shoulder blades.

She was weeping…again.

Although Kagome was now considered as pack, the inu-youkai didn’t know why the scent of her tears disturbed him.

The only female he cared about was Rin… Right?

He pondered. And blinked. And frowned as his lip curled into a faint snarl.

He couldn’t have room in his heart for another. This was just another duty he had to fulfill.

Subtly, he tightened his jaws around his half-brother’s statue.

Inuyasha, you cause this one too much stress…
