Chapter 78: Upsy Daisy

Sesshoumaru grumbled as he lowered himself down onto his belly, mentally hoping that the female would get over her irrational fear of heights. They had already wasted enough time lingering in the clearing, and he was more than eager to return to his home in the West.

Kagome worried her lip between her teeth. “I’m sorry in advance if I hurt you, Sesshoumaru-sama.” He only sighed in response, nudging her to climb on.

As she scrambled up the scruff of his neck, she almost wished that she could maneuver herself as gracefully as he did in his humanoid form.
