Chapter 423: Special Affair

She knew her first attempt had been clumsy.

And horribly awkward.

It wasn’t like she hadn’t kissed anyone before, but she had never kissed Sesshoumaru. Well, at least, not properly. With her mouth… on his mouth.

I knew this was a really bad idea.

Peeking up at him, Kagome was surprised to see a glimmer of amusement in his eyes. Somehow, his smirk was irritating.

She huffed, thinking he was laughing at her. “I don’t even know what I was– Just forget anything happened, okay? Gosh, you’re so mean!”

“Kagome.” He rubbed noses with her, catching her attention. “Try again.”
