Chapter 415: Waves

Sesshoumaru cupped his hands under the water and poured it over her head. He had allowed the woman to lather her body with the lightly scented soaps from his mother’s collection, knowing Kagome would only let him groom her hair. He didn’t mind it as much because it was a more personal act between pack members anyway. Or, so he’d heard. His instincts had never lied to him before either.

Doing this for her felt right. It also calmed the minor anxiety he had experienced when he had come across across her in the hall.

He wouldn’t abandon her now.
