Chapter 414: Slow Dive

Standing in the shallow end of the water, Sesshoumaru gathered his packmate’s soft hair and moved it behind her back. The midnight tresses fell in waves of loose curls with a scent that smelled of lavender and lightning storms. Her purity was both beautiful and dangerous and called to him with an attraction he didn’t care to explore.

He pressed a kiss to her shoulder, allowing his lips to linger perhaps longer than they should have, and was pleased when all she did was sigh quietly in acceptance.

Emboldened, he pulled her closer and leaned back, staring into her eyes.
