Chapter 402: Calm Down

The sound of a sword returning to its sheath disturbed the stillness of the room.

Sesshoumaru waited, searching for any sign of movement from the woman underneath his mokomoko. So far, there had been nothing. How long had it taken for Jaken to be revived after Kaijinbou killed him? He remembered that Kagome had been healed rather quickly by Tenseiga before, too.

Maybe…

A cough interrupted his thoughts.

The silver-haired male watched as water began to leak from Kagome’s nose and mouth, and, alarmed, he immediately turned her head to the side so that the fluid could drain out better.
