Chapter 396: The Dishonored Ones

Sesshoumaru inwardly seethed, detesting the wards Kagome had placed to keep him and the rest of the pack away from the spider. Though he was annoyed by this, he knew Naraku was the key in removing the miko’s strange ailment.

A poisoning of the soul was not a fate she deserved… and yet, she should not have been forced to die either. The fact that he was allowing such a thing to happen went against his promise to Inuyasha to protect her and keep her safe.

He was despicable.

He only hoped she could forgive him when everything was over.
