Chapter 395: Stay With Me

“Is there anything you would like to say? Any last words?”

Kagome breathed shallowly, eyes roving about listlessly. By now, she was already too numb. And as such, she didn’t care to think about Naraku’s surprising consideration; the man was about to kill her, after all.

“Sesshoumaru-sama,” she whispered softly, reaching out toward him. Her skin was wet and resembled a prune.

On silent feet, he appeared before her. His expression was blank, but she could see the concern etched in his golden eyes. And for whatever reason, it was more reassuring than anything he could have said to her.
