Chapter 394: Transistor

The water was both hot and cold at the same time. The clear liquid had fallen to such a low temperature that it burned. It was like the little body heat she had left was trying to conserve itself within her fingers and toes. It didn’t help that the water was now up to her neck; the weight of it pressed hard enough to make her sick.

“Hold on for a little longer, Kagome-chan,” Naraku said with an unexpected pat on her hand. She eased the white-knuckled grip she had on the edges of the tub. “You are almost ready.”
