Chapter 393: Lonely Descent

Tiny pinpricks of ice rolled down her body, starting from the top of her head and then all the way down to the tips of her toes. Her white attire clung to her body as she watched her chilled skin being drained of its color, pale as the moon would be against a blackened sky. Splotches of purple and the greens of her veins decorated her limbs, accentuating the brittle bones of her hands and feet.

It was frightening.

Kagome imagined how her lips must have turned an alarming shade of blue, teeth clacking together as her jaw trembled uncontrollably.
