“So then I’d be dead only temporarily…” Kagome juggled the concept in her mind, tongue running over her teeth in thought. She chewed on the inside of her cheek. “And you have a plan for this?”
“Impossible plans are my specialty!” Naraku only seemed too happy to admit this.
“They’re more improbable than impossible. Your success rates are ridiculous,” Kagome muttered. “I mean, that’s until we killed you.”
He chuckled. “I admit that last one wasn’t constructed well. The Jewel was a conniving bitch.”
“At least we can agree on the same thing for once…”
“Your purification drugged me, Kagome-chan.”
