Chapter 387: In Sheep’s Clothing

Goosebumps crawled up and down her arms when she felt Naraku’s breath on her neck and voice in her ear.

“He’s right. It would be wise not to trust me,” he whispered, smiling at her involuntary shiver.

Balling up her fists, she tried very hard to keep her voice level. She also held back from throwing a punch at his stupid nose. It’s too bad that she would probably end up hurting worse than he would. “You wouldn’t dare,” she hissed.

“On the contrary, with your precautions in place, I’m free to do whatever I want… with anyone I want.”
