Chapter 377: Ritual

A blanket of silence had fallen over the room as Naraku and the three other youkai watched the Shikon Miko as she meditated. She had been sitting in the seiza position for over an hour much to their amazement. Not many humans could boast such a feat without having lost circulation in their legs at some point. Then again, what did they know about humans besides killing and eating them?

“Thanks, Kazuya-kun.” The half wolf hybrid blinked out of his stupor as he set down a large pot of boiling water behind her. She stood up. “We can now begin.”
