Chapter 376: Last Resort

“I’m no hero, Kagome-chan. You know this is wildly inappropriate considering our… history.”

The priestess kept her hands steady as she finished the inscriptions on the floor. Setting her ink-dipped brush aside, she eyed the wide ring of salt around Naraku, making sure there were no breaks within the line. Satisfied with her work, she set her eyes on the male sitting in front of her.

“If there was any other way…” She let the sentence drop, allowing him to fill in the blanks for himself. “But as it turns out, you’re the only shot I have at stopping her.”
