Chapter 375: A Little Taste of Karma

“Are you mocking my aversion to my former mate?” Naraku challenged.

Kagome shrugged. “I didn’t think you had it in you to have one. And, yes, I think it’s hilarious. Well, mostly sad, but hilarious all the same. Shuuko mentioned your taste for mikos, but I find it hard to believe that you’re afraid of the mother of your own child… Sasori said you picked her!”

“A simple miscalculation on my part,” the male admitted. “Persuasion is a complicated art.”

“Don’t you mean `possession’?”

It was Naraku’s turn to shrug. “Semantics.”

“Regardless, it’d be beneficial for you to help us.”
